General rules when using your Entertainment™ Membership

Rules of Use

1. ENTERTAINMENT™ GOLD CARD
   Your Entertainment™ Gold Card is included on page 6 of this Book. You can begin using your Gold Card once you have activated it at www.entertainmentbook.co.nz. The Card is used to obtain offers from the Contemporary Dining section, and hotel accommodation. Sign the back of the Card and carry it with you. It is not transferable. Should you lose your Gold Card – there is a $35 charge for a replacement. The Card and Book are valid from now through the close of business 1 June, 2019.
2. VOUCHER SECTIONS
   You don’t have to carry the entire Book with you, just detach and present the Voucher. Vouchers may not be swapped, traded, published or resold and are not transferable. Carefully read each Voucher before using. Offers apply only to the items and terms specified. Vouchers are valid from now through the close of business 1 June, 2019.
3. PRESENTING YOUR GOLD CARD / VOUCHER
   Please present your Gold Card or Voucher at the time you request your bill or make your purchase.
4. NOT VALID WITH OTHER THIRD-PARTY OFFERS
   Entertainment™ offers are exclusive and may not be combined with other third-party discount programs.

   How to Use Dining Offers

5. CONTEMPORARY DINING SECTION
   It is not necessary to identify yourself as an Entertainment™ Member when making your booking or arriving at the restaurant. Present your Entertainment™ Gold Card at the time you request your bill to redeem the offer. You may use your Card once at each restaurant listed in this section. The restaurant’s assigned number will be removed from the back of your Gold Card after each use.
6. VALID ANYTIME
   Entertainment™ dining offers (in sections A to C) can be used at restaurants any time except the following days:
   • Christmas Eve • Christmas Day • Boxing Day • New Year’s Eve • New Year’s Day • Valentine’s Day • Good Friday • Easter Sunday • Mother’s Day. It is optional for restaurants to honour the Entertainment™ offers on these days. For a list of restaurants who will accept your Card on these days, please visit: www.entertainmentbook.co.nz/members/rules/Optional-Days. All other offers can be used any day.
7. MAIN COURSE OFFERS
   The restaurant will deduct the price of the least expensive main course(s), up to the maximum value stated on the Voucher, in the Book, or on the Digital Membership for that offer. See examples on page 3. Please note the following:
   • If two main courses are not ordered, the least expensive item(s) ordered as a main course will be deducted.
   • When more than two people are dining together, or if multiple Cards, Vouchers or Digital Memberships are used, the least expensive main course(s) of the party is / are the one(s) deducted.
   • When adults and children dine together and two or more adult-priced main courses are purchased, the least expensive adult main course is complimentary. If only one adult-priced main course is purchased, then the value of the child’s meal is deducted.
8. 25% OFF DINING OFFERS
   The restaurant will deduct 25% off the total bill for the table, up to the maximum value indicated on the offer. If multiple Cards / Vouchers / Digital Memberships are used, the deduction is still 25% off the total bill, up to the maximum combined value of the Cards / Vouchers / Digital Memberships. See examples on page 3.
9. RESTAURANT 'SPECIALS'
   If the restaurant is running a breakfast, lunch or dinner special / set menu, your Card / Voucher / Digital Membership is still valid. If it incorporates more than one course, the value of the main course portion, or 25% will be deducted from the bill, up to the maximum deduction indicated in the offer.
10. DINING IN GROUPS
    When more than two people dine together, these rules apply:

    Maximum number of Cards, Vouchers or Digital Memberships	1	1	2	2	3

    • One bill for the party – no separate bills
    • Maximum of three Entertainment™ Cards / Vouchers / Digital Memberships per party.


11. SOLO DINING (SECTIONS A TO C)
    Restaurants may extend their offer to those dining alone. This is shown on their offer as (This offer may also be used when dining alone).
12. DINE-IN ONLY
    Restaurant offers in the Contemporary Dining, Café and Bistro Dining, and Casual Restaurant and Family Dining sections are valid for dine-in only, unless otherwise stated.

     

    How Entertainment™ Dining Offers Work

    When two or more people dine together, the least expensive main course ordered is complimentary, up to the maximum value stated in the offer. Alternatively, some restaurants offer 25% off the total bill for you and your guests, up to the value stated. See examples below.

    Total bill: $219.00	Total bill: $302.00
    If the offer is for a “complimentary main course”: The LEAST expensive MAIN COURSE is complimentary   – $35.00 OR: If the offer is for “25% off the total bill”: Total bill is $219.00. 25% off $219.00 is $54.75 The restaurant will deduct the maximum value of $40.00         – $40.00	If the offer is for a “complimentary main course”: The two LEAST expensive MAIN COURSES are complimentary – $28.00 and – $30.00 OR: If the offer is for “25% off the total bill”: Total bill is $302.00. 25% off $302.00 is $75.50 Since there are two Cards, the maximum value is $70.00. In this case, the restaurant will deduct         – $70.00

    How to Use Other Offers

13. INFORMAL DINING AND TAKEAWAY (SECTION D)
    Unless otherwise noted, Vouchers in the Informal Dining and Takeaway section (Section D) may be used for both takeaway and dine-in (not for delivery unless otherwise stated).
14. MOVIE OFFERS
    If a movie Voucher in your Book states “no free list” the cinema may be obligated by studio contracts to exclude certain movies. To check, call the cinema or check their website.
15. ARTS, SPORTS, AND ATTRACTIONS, NATIONAL SHOPPING, LOCAL SHOPPING AND SERVICES, TRAVEL AND LEISURE (SECTIONS E-G)
    Please read each Voucher for terms and conditions. When using these offers with accompanying children, if two or more adult admissions are purchased, the least expensive adult admission is complimentary, unless otherwise stated. Gift Cards cannot be used towards the purchase of alternate Gift Cards sold through participating stores. 16. HOTEL AND RESORT OFFERS (SECTION G)
    Your Entertainment™ Gold Card is valid for up to 50% off at over 2,000 leading hotels and resorts. Properties featured in this section may have specific terms and conditions on their page. Please refer to each offer for details and the Hotel Program Rules of Use online at www.my-bookings.com.au/Pages/RulesOfUse.aspx.
